Approach the base of Buarbreen Glacier, an active arm of Folgefonna Glacier, via a 7 km round-trip route that takes about 4 hours. Experience the power of ice and mountain water in a high-altitude setting.
After the glacier visit, you will have free time in the village of Odda for lunch, a walk, or shopping. Then, visit the double Låtefossen Waterfall, known as the thunder waterfall.
Conclude with a 5 km round-trip walk along an easy historic trail to Lake Bondhusvatnet. This flat route takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and offers views of Norway’s famous turquoise lake with the glacier as a backdrop.
