Begin your day by walking from your hotel to the harbour to meet your captain and guide. As you leave Bergen harbor, admire views of the UNESCO-listed Bryggen buildings. Onboard, enjoy coffee, tea, wine, beer, or your preferred drinks while relaxing with music and the natural fjord surroundings.
The slow cruise brings you through pristine fjords with mountain backdrops and quiet waters, passing the neighborhoods of Sandviken and Eidsvåg. Upon arrival in Modalen, experience the narrow fjords and can approach a waterfall where you can taste the cold mountain water, shower on the boat’s foredeck, or take a quick swim. Hot showers and towels are provided.
Next, you have free time to explore the small village of Mo with its roughly 100 residents. The village is remote and quiet, with a grocery store and a summer café where you may choose to have lunch.
The return trip includes a cruise past the 90-meter waterfall of Fulufjallet National Park. Enjoy additional snacks and wine onboard. Guests can try steering the boat under the captain’s supervision.
