Description
Explore Sognefjord, — the 'King of the Fjords' — including Nærøyfjord, on a private yacht-cruise from Flåm to Bergen. Admire the longest and deepest fjord in Norway, and enjoy the chance to spend the night aboard the boat.
Begin the tour by boarding the yacht in Flåm or Aurland. Then, start your 2-day, 1-night cruise to Bergen which also takes in Balestrand, Nærøyfjorden, and Gudvangen.
Cruise out the fjords of Flåm, including the Nærøyfjord. Enjoy a slow pace that gives you plenty of opportunities to take in the lovely surroundings at your own speed.
Stop for the night, with the boat docking in the hotel garden at the Kviknes Hotel in Balestrand. Either stay on the yacht overnight, enjoying the boat completely to yourselves, or stay at Kviknes Hotel separately with the hotel (extra).
Whether you stay at the hotel or not, you can have dinner there (not included), a 20-meter walk from the boat. Or you can choose one of the other restaurants in Balestrand. Go for a nice evening walk in the hotel garden, and maybe go for a swim.
On the second day, continue your cruise out the Sognefjord, towards Bergen. We cruise out the long fjord, before we start going between the islands and sounds in the archipelago on the west coast of Norway. Lunch this day will be at Skjerjehamn, out in the archipelago at the coast of Norway, north of Bergen. Skjerjehamn – a historic gem in the heart of Western Norway’s archipelago. Here, where the old trade routes once crossed, we invite you to a lunch to remember. A taste of the sea and coastal culture. After lunch we continue at slow speed through narrow passages, towards Bergen.
We guarantee you a good and relaxing experience the whole way from Flåm to Bergen, with low pulse and many impressions on the way. Everything will be at your own speed, we are flexible and adjust the times as you like.
We usually arrive in Bergen around 6 PM on day 2.
